Hello, my name is Riquia Brooks Mother and advocate for my loving son Aiden Brooks. On the day of May 15th 2022 our lives changed. A COUGH turned out to be more than just a cold my son was diagnosed with a lung infection by the name of Legionella phenomia. Aiden contracted this infection of the lung due to lack of care and maintenance of the Hvac systems in my unit.. Aiden was placed on Bipap which is a breathing machine. Myself and the doctors believed this would be the solution with a little medication yet it was not. It's been 3 months now and he is still currently on life support and a Dialysis machine for kidney failure. He's currently unable to speak due too the trake vile that's been placed in his throat to assist with his breathing. Aiden is currently on the waiting list for a lung transplant if he meets the requirements, I pray he does. I've created this go fund me page for the support of Aiden. I will do anything and everything in my power to make sure he gets the best care possible and his story doesn't go untold..
