Happy New Year! The evening of January 1st (early Jan 2), a fire started on the exterior of the Jackson family's garage. A good samaritan driving by, woke the family by banging on the door and waking up the family. Though no one was injured and/or hurt, the home is currently in disrepair. The fire caused electrical damage and at this time, the family is displaced. Uprooting the entire family of 7 is a colossal feat in itself, also with pets and now a necessity with the list of repairs required to get the home back to acceptable living standards. Missed work, groceries, commuting back and forth to temporary home/school/work is quite costly.

Kids' are to return to school on Monday 01/08, their schools are within walking distance from home but now it is a 40 minute drive from temporary residence.
