"My name is Tala, and I am from Gaza. Before the war, we had a simple but beautiful life. My husband worked for many years, putting all his effort and savings into building our home — a place where we felt safe and secure. Sadly, everything was destroyed in the war. Our home is now gone, along with the life we worked so hard to build. To make matters even harder, we are still burdened by a large debt from the construction of our home, which we are now obligated to pay back despite having lost everything."

Today, my family and I are living in a small, worn-out tent. It offers us no real protection from the cold winter or the unbearable summer heat. The conditions are extremely harsh. We are constantly exposed to insects, pollution, and a lack of basic hygiene.

I have a young daughter who is suffering greatly in these conditions. She is constantly affected by insects and the unhealthy environment around us. As a mother, it breaks my heart to see her live like this.

On top of that, I am currently pregnant, and the difficult conditions are taking a serious toll on my health. The lack of proper shelter, nutrition, and medical care makes every day more challenging and frightening.

We are doing everything we can to stay strong, but we cannot do this alone anymore.
