Send Aidan on World Wrestling Tour

Hi.  My name is Aidan Squier.  I am an student at Trevor-Wilmot Grade School.  I am a dedicated youth wrestler.  I started wrestling when I was 5 years old and I love this sport.  I have been offered an awesome opportunity to wrestle in the Netherlands this coming April, 2017 with the World Wrestling Tour.

In America, the main wrestling style is called Folkstyle.  In international competition there are two primary styles: Greco-Roman and Freestyle.  This trip gives me the opportunity to go with a group of 10 wrestlers and train in Greco-Roman style with partners in the Netherlands.  I will also get the opportunity to participate in a 2-day European Greco tournament that usually has 800 wrestlers from 24 different countries.

The $1500 I hope to raise covers the cost of airfare, training, lodging, food, and competition.  While in the Netherlands I will get the opportunity to train with coaches and wrestlers from around the world.  I will also get the opportunity to tour places in the Netherlands.

I am excited about this awesome opportunity.  It would be an honor to represent the sport I love, my community and my country.
