Aidan's Beard Shave for Charity.

Aidan Sarsfield is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Australia for UNHCR.

Anyone watching the news recently would have seen the pretty horrifying images of people trying to get out of Afghanistan. Hundreds of thousands of Afghan men, women, and children are fleeing their homes in fear as the Taliban take over control of Afghanistan. According to the United Nations High Commission for Refugees , the country is “on course to witness the highest ever number of documented civilian casualties in a single year since the U.N.’s records began.”

With that in mind, I'm going to use my ridiculous beard to raise money to benefit Afghan refugees . (We will be donating to the UNHCR) Dont worry, I completely appreciate that this a pretty frivolous fundraiser for a very serious issue, but I'm figuring that how we help, is less important than the help itself.
