Aidan Toscano's Story.

Hello everyone, This is Gabi Rodriguez, Aidan's girlfriend. I am writing and creating this go fund me on behalf of Patrick and Melissa Toscano's son, Aidan Toscano. On Tuesday, February 15, around 7:30 AM, Aidan was involved in a severe car accident on his way to my college town, Huntsville. He came around a curve and collided with an 18-wheeler. Only 15 minutes later, he was life-flighted to a hospital in Houston.
That morning, not only was my body telling me something was wrong, but he was taking too long to call me and tell me he was here. So I immediately got into my car and followed the route to his last seen location. As I was pulling up, cops were redirecting traffic, and I pushed my way through because I knew it was him. I franticly begged the cop to tell me if it was Aidan and if he was alive. The cops knew nothing about the identities of those involved. He asked me several questions to help confirm if it was him. I told them everything I could, from his hair color to where he has birthmarks. Soon enough, they were able to confirm it was Aidan. I immediately called his parents because I knew if I didn't, who knows how long the hospital would have taken to identify him to be able to contact his parent.
Aidan was in surgery for 4 hours on Tuesday. The surgeons finally spoke to his parents about how they saved his life. Unfortunately, due to the severity of his injuries, Aidan will need a prosthetic ankle and arm on his left side. Given it is only Wednesday, fortunately, his brain, spine, and eyes are okay. Yesterday was only the beginning, and we take it day by day.
Anyone who knows Aidan knows how intelligent, loyal, and amazing he is. He attends Texas A&M University and is in Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. His wonderful parents, Patrick and Melissa, raised a great young man, an amazing man who I have loved for over two years. His beautiful younger sister, Alexa, is fortunate to have a big brother who loves her more than she will ever know. The bond and love they have for each other are so special. This is the hardest thing we have ever faced, but we pray and stay positive.
We decided to create this go fund me solely for Aidan and his future. So everything we raise will go straight to Aidan, where he can decide what to do with it in the future.
We appreciate everyone's kind words, prayers, and support. In addition, we thank everyone who chooses to contribute to Aidan's future.
Please continue to pray for Aidan and the family. We are beyond blessed he survived this, and we know he has a purpose and a reason to be with us. We will continue to update as we learn more.
