My name is Gabe Nelson and I'm helping raise funds for a student athlete of mine. Aidan is in need of a racing chair for track and field. The chair he currently uses was a donation that helped get him started in the sport but will not allow him to be competitive within the wheelchair division. He has taken well to the throwing events and has benefited from the generosity of other wheelchair competitors' allowing him to use their throwing platform at meets.

The chair he currently uses for races is outdated and dangerous (the wheels are an open spoke design that makes any slip of the thumb quite scary). Racing chairs are truly a custom item that is tailored to the athlete's specific needs and abilities and would benefit Aidan in his hopes to compete beyond high school.
