Hi, My name is Rya Lahti McMahon. I have been honored to be able to work with Aida Johannes over the last few years and recently Aida has been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Her recent colon surgery revealed what nobody wants to hear. It's not just a tumor, it's stage 3 cancer.

She will never tell you this because she will never ask for help. However, Aida needs our help. Her sole income is from riding & teaching here in San Diego, CA. She has been a cornerstone of the equestrian community. She'd prefer to be the quiet one, however with months of chemotherapy/radiation on the calendar, she needs our help.

This GoFundMe is to help her with basic living expenses so she can concentration on getting better. She shouldn't have to worry about where money will come from for basic living expenses for the next 12 months. And as a horse trainer, that is a perpetual worry.
