Aid Zita in Escaping Domestic Violence

My name is Zita and I am Victim of Domestic Violence.

I was physically, sexually and financially abused by my husband for years and I had the courage to leave him in July.

I have a Protective Order in place and there is an upcoming criminal case with a felony charge. My husband does not provide enough financial support and due to credit history and low income I am not able to get an apartment for me and my dog.

Some of my friends helped me with food, clothes, and shelter. I reached out to a lot of resources, churches, Legal Aid but unfortunately I still need help.

I applied for multiple jobs and everyone is trying keep their eyes open but I still do not have a job.

I have one year left at my school to become a Surgical Tech.

Some of my friends told me to start a Go Fund Me and for a long time I did not do it because some people told me that I should not do it. But, here I am and I give it a try because I have nothing to lose.

I need help so that I can hire a lawyer, finish my school.

If it is only a few dollars or just a prayer, I still appreciate it and I hope that God will provide and take care of me and my dog.

I want to say Thank you to all those people who helped me so far, to stay safe, and that I did not have to live on the street. Thank you for all the help and support, the food and help with my sweet dog! I will always be grateful for you! And I hope that one day I will be able to help someone who goes through the same.
