Hello, my name is Josie and this is my best friend, Zen.

Zen is 8 years old and (possibly) a Tortie Point Siamese. This year she has racked up over $3,000 of veterinary bills for surgeries, removals, and most recently, a biopsy.

Unfortunately, the biopsy revealed that she has cancer in her mammary glands that has already been spreading, and she may not have much time left here.

If you know me personally, then you know my Zenny. She has been attached to my hip for the last 6 years that I've had the pleasure of being her mom. She truly feels like an extension of me. It has even been said that we have the same personality (anxious and a little crazy haha). This cat has been here for me in my absolute darkest times. I will never meet another cat like Zen.

To pay for her vet appointments in the last 7 months, I have maxed out my credit card, her pet insurance, and a veterinary care credit card.

I am making this GoFundMe to help get me back on my feet and pay these bills back. The total of her veterinary bills as of 1/14/25 is $3,205. The next step is to take her to be checked by an oncologist (total unknown) to see if removal would even be possible, although the chances may not be great.

On top of the financial struggles, this is going to take a massive toll on my mental health, and I will be needing to take unpaid time off of work.

Any amount of money towards these bills is greatly appreciated. If I could give her the world in these last few months, I surely would.

Fun facts about Zen: She has a beautiful face, and she knows it. She is a true diva! She likes slow mornings cuddling with her momma and having her ears rubbed! She doesn't usually go after human food, but if you have Chinese food, she WILL steal it.

She is the strangest, most magical cat I have ever met. I am so very lucky to have her.
