Hi everyone!

Unfortunately, I broke my leg on 4/9 (contained spiral fracture on both my tibia and fibula), and the consequent lack of mobility is bleeding into pretty much every aspect of my life. I am unable to work as a baker for the coming weeks, and I have had to take a medical leave from school. I was in the hospital for 4 days and underwent a pretty intense internal fixation surgery where a long titanium rod was inserted into my tibia along with several pins that start under my knee and go until just above my ankle joint. I can't bear weight on my leg, which has made my life really, really complicated. If you know me, you know that I love to live an active and independent lifestyle, and being in bed all day is a nightmare for me.

I am starting this GoFundMe to help pay for my rent, my food, and my care/time in the hospital until I am able to take care of myself again. Any help is appreciated from those who have the means to give it.
