My name is Yuzori Graham, and I am writing to respectfully request financial assistance to support my travel to Lexington, Kentucky, where I have been honored with the opportunity to perform in the National Intercollegiate Band this summer.

The National Intercollegiate Band (NIB) is a prestigious concert band composed of top collegiate musicians from across the United States. It is organized by Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma, which are national honorary band service organizations.

Throughout my time at Morgan, I have been actively involved in the music program, participating in ensembles such as Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Trombone Studio, and Choir. I have also contributed to a variety of gigs and performances—both on and off campus—including several engagements at Morgan State University. These experiences have helped me grow as a musician and positively represent our university in the broader music community.

Being selected for the National Intercollegiate Band is a tremendous honor and an invaluable opportunity for artistic and professional development. However, the travel and associated costs total approximately $600, which presents a financial challenge. I am seeking assistance to help cover these expenses so that I may take full advantage of this opportunity without financial hardship.
