Help Yoshi, Jayna & Their Kittens Recover After a Devastating Fire

Hi everyone,

My name is Yoshi, and I’m a single mother to my beautiful daughter, Jayna, and our two sweet kittens. On June 19th, our lives were turned upside down when a fire broke out in a neighboring unit and left our home severely damaged and uninhabitable for at least a year. The back portion of our home was destroyed, and firefighters had to tear open the roof to stop the fire. On top of that, there’s extensive water and smoke damage throughout the house.

While we are incredibly grateful to be safe, the emotional and financial toll of suddenly being displaced has been overwhelming. We’ve lost access to many of our belongings — clothes, essentials, and items that made our space feel like home. On top of that, we are in urgent need of food, storage solutions, everyday necessities, and supplies to care for our kittens until we can settle into temporary housing.

This GoFundMe will help us:

• Replace clothing and basic necessities

• Afford meals and groceries

• Pay for temporary storage

• Care for our pets (food, litter, vet care, etc.)

• Transition smoothly into a safe temporary living space
