Aid Wrynlee Jo's Journey to Health
Donation protected
After a long year beginning with sickness and a miscarriage in April, continuing on from June with another long pregnancy complicated by placenta previa, placental abruption, hyperemesis, and many hospital visits and stays, Keegan and Ronni welcomed Wrynlee Jo Gayle Hayes into the world on November 2, 2024 at 26 weeks and 3 days. She weighed 1 pound 11 ounces and was 13 inches long. Since her birth she has had numerous setbacks and health problems. These include retinopathy of prematurity, early stage liver failure, multiple intubations, anemia, apnea, bradycardia events, feeding intolerances, and many more. They have spent 69 days so far in the hospital and at the Ronald McDonald house with their other three children making do the best they can. Her treatment thus far has been being received in Evansville, Indiana but with her many health concerns she is being transferred to Riley’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis to receive a higher level of care with more specialists. Right now her plan of care is unclear due to her instability in so many different areas and it is unclear how much longer she will have to remain in the NICU but we do know that the road before coming home is still long and full of tests, scans, and possible surgery along the way. With her care being over 2 hours away Ronni and Keegan will be staying in Indianapolis with her and traveling back and forth when necessary as they still have other kids and a home life as well. We are asking that if you are able to help in any way that you may consider doing so. That may be a donation, prayers, unwanted/unneeded items you may have, a visit, etc. Our families appreciate anything you may be able to do to help them in this scary time in their lives.
