The fundraiser is organized by Jacquiline Johnson and the family for Sir Walter Johnson.

Walter's life has recently changed. The day after his birthday in June, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a rare and aggressive blood cancer. That call from the doctors changed our lives!

Being retired, Walter and I just wanted to help others in our community and church. But that all changed on June 11. With Walter not having to deal with any serious health issues, this came like a hit in the gut. But he is a fighter!

In the hospital now, Walter is receiving aggressive treatments of chemo, experimental FDA-approved cancer drugs, and blood transfusions. He is facing a challenging road ahead, both emotionally and financially.

As Walter battles this illness, the medical expenses and impact on daily life are immense.

Support is being sought to help Sir Walter focus on healing without financial strain.
