My name is Casey and I’m raising money for my nephew Vincent’s recovery. On October 6 Vincent, who was home visiting from college in Tennessee, had a seizure. After being rushed to the hospital and a CT scan we learned he had a brain tumor. He had numerous tests done where we learned that the tumor had been growing with him for about a decade without any indication it was there. He was otherwise a healthy and active young man.

On October 22, he had a surgery that removed the tumor. The surgery was a success and they later learned that the tumor was benign. However, recovery has not been great and he is suffering from seizures, which made him travel back to the hospital quite a few times. During all of this his parents, Colleen and Lou, have been unable to work. Lou is taking time off in order to care for Vincent until the seizures stop and he does not need around the clock care. This obviously has taken emotional toll on the family and I want to make sure that they can focus on Vincent’s recovery and not worry about the financial toll as the medical bills pile up.

Any money donated will be going to anything to do with Vincent’s recovery. The ambulance rides, the travel, the medical bills.
