Aid Victoria's Family in a Time of Need

Hi, my name is Victoria. I am a stay-at-home mom and I am married. I have six children and two grandchildren. I was not always a stay-at-home mom; I’ve always worked. I started working when I was 15 and have never been without a job until now. Unfortunately, the circumstances that I am in right now do not allow me to work. I came to this country when I was five years old and, to be honest, I don’t know anything about my country, just a few things here and there. I’m telling you guys my story so you can understand why we are in this situation that we’re in now. I lost my job back in September of last year. I lost my job because after almost 34 years of getting a work permit, it was denied. My husband is the only one working now and everything has fallen on him. I can’t get a job. We can’t get assistance because I don’t have a valid ID. To be completely honest, we don’t know what else to do. We are backed up three months in rent going on 4 months. The leasing manager does not want to release the apartment unless we pay the full amount by the end of this month. Getting a lawyer to see why my work permit wasn’t approved this time and to see if I can get my papers submitted also requires money. I don’t know any other place but here; this is my home, my family’s home.
So I started this GoFundMe because I don’t want to lose our home and I really want to get my papers situated here in this country. There is so much going on right now, and I don’t want to be separated from my family.
I've worked all my life. This is the first time that I’m not able to work and help my husband. Please help us keep our home and help fix my status in this country. This was really hard for me to do because I was scared of all the judgment, but I know God is with us.
I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to read our story and for any help your heart gives.
Blessings to all!!
