Help Valencia Relocate to New York for Health and Safety

Due to urgent circumstances, I need to leave for New York as soon as possible (by mid-December).

Hello, my name is Valencia Sin-Clare, and I am a mother of two wonderful people who are my greatest supporters. Together, we worked hard to see them through college during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they were able to graduate. For that, I am incredibly grateful.

After careful consideration, I have made the decision to relocate to New York to be closer to my family and receive the medical support I urgently need. My current living situation has become unsafe, toxic, and is affecting my health. With my recent diagnosis of amyloidosis and ongoing treatment for bone metastasis, this transition has become a necessary step for my well-being.

My health challenges began in 2020 and 2021, after a series of tests, consultations, and ultimately, a diagnosis of amyloidosis. Despite ongoing chemotherapy, my doctors have not yet located the origin of the illness, and treatment has taken a toll. I often feel sick, experience blurred vision, and suffer from frequent falls, making it impossible for me to work.

I am asking for your support to help cover the urgent moving costs—flights, moving expenses, and the cost to transport my belongings. These include many years of my artwork, books, wooden sculptures, and family photos, which are currently in storage.

This move to New York is essential not only for my health but also for my safety. Your contribution will allow me to get to New York as soon as possible and start this new chapter near my family.
