Aid Tyler's Fight Against Brain Tumor

Update on Tyler!

The surgery to place his drain yesterday evening was successful and everything went well. We was stable, alert and eating dinner in bed last night. Due to the amount of fluid in his brian he was draining to much too fast and it made him very sick overnight so they are clamping his drain to help control how fast he drains. The vomiting did cause a hematoma, and a small brain bleed that they will contuine to monitor. His next surgery is expected to be done on Wednesday given that he stops vomiting. The surgeon described the mass as a cyst that is wrapped with a tumor, it's located in the right back of his brain and it's intertwined with some very important nerves and blood vessels. The plan is to aspirate the fluid out of the cyst and take slices of the tumor to send off to pathology. This surgery is very critical given the masses size, location, and the nerves and blood vessels it's on. And there are many scary complications that could happen, but we are praying the doctors can get in and out without nicking any nerves or blood vessels. Please contuine to pray for my brother, his fiancee and children as the next few days/weeks will be critical.

Also, as much as we appreciate everyone wanting to visit we are not accepting any visitors at this time because in order for his brian to heal he needs little to no stimulation in the next few days. The doctors want him on strict brain rest. Thank you all for the love and support!

Hello friends and family, my name is Megan and my big brother Tyler could really use help right now! They found a Tumor in his brain and will be undergoing surgery.
