Help Troop 851 Return Home from St. Thomas
My name is Sara, one of the moms whos scout is currently in St Thomas. Ryan Schroeder is their team leader. On August 10th, Boy Scout Troop 851 from Plymouth set out on an incredible adventure to St. Thomas Island—an opportunity for learning, service, and building lifelong memories. Unfortunately, what began as a dream trip has turned into an unexpected challenge.
Due to unforeseen circumstances with flights, and a hurricane our Scouts and leaders are now stranded on the island and unable to return home as planned today. Earliest flights are not until this Friday possibly Saturday. extra days have created unexpected expenses for lodging, meals, and travel arrangements. The funds will be used for all of the above.
We are reaching out to our community, family, and friends for support. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Troop 851 cover these unplanned costs and safely bring our Scouts and leaders back home.
These young men have worked hard to prepare for this trip, showing dedication, teamwork, and the spirit of Scouting. Now, they need your help to complete their journey.
Please consider donating and sharing this page with others who may be able to help. Together, we can bring Troop 851 safely home.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and generosity.
