Hi, my name is Shawn Dixon.
I am the father of the little girl who's in the picture, Triada Dixon. My daughter has a rare kind of cancer. I recently found out from doctors that she will be doing a 2-year chemotherapy, which is very costly. Anyone out there who knows what it's like to have kids in this condition would know what I am going through as a father. Knowing that my daughter is a very jovial and happy little girl, she's very strong, quiet, and never scared to take chances. But now, as a father who dwells in the care and love of his kids, I'm asking for anyone with a kind heart in this world for your help and support on this journey, hoping and praying that God revisits the doctors in the treatment room for properly caring for her.
So she can be well and come back home to her loving family. Thank you for reading and showing the initiative to help and support the future of our kids because they are the next generation to come. Let's hope and pray that she gets the help she needs for the chemotherapy treatment. She will be treated mainly at Children's National in Washington, DC, and follow-up treatment will be in Rockville, Maryland, and further. Thank you,
Standing in Faith for [Daughter's triada dixon]’ Battle with Cancer
"As a father, there is no greater heartbreak than watching your child fight for their life. My beautiful 10-year-old daughter is currently in the middle of a grueling battle with cancer. Seeing her in so much pain breaks my heart every single day, and truly, only God knows the depth of what we are going through.
Asking for help was never something I thought I would have to do. However, I am putting my pride aside for the sake of my daughter. We are leaning heavily on our faith, believing that prayer and fasting are our strongest weapons right now.
We are asking for your support—whether through a donation to help with her medical expenses or, most importantly, through your prayers. We know we cannot do this alone, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us in this fight."
