Aid Tori Anderson's Medical Journey

My name is Tori and I am a mother of two wonderful children, my daughter Avory and my son Damien, who are my absolute world. I also have a wonderful husband who would do anything for me.

 For the past 10 years, I have been suffering with a genetic issue, lupus, anticoagulant or factor five. This causes me to form blood clots very easily and I had multiple in my right leg my lung, my kidney ovaries abdomen. I’ve had other medical issues that have resulted from the clots and having to be on blood thinners like internal bleeding, my lungs collapsing, also Liver and Kidney failure. I have had many surgeries and procedures, the latest being this past month where I was in the hospital for 3 weeks having 2 procedures where my vascular surgeon attempted to clear the multiple stints in my right leg, however it failed which resulted in them having to do a Vascular bypass, basically rerouting a vein in my left leg and putting through my groin into my right leg for circulation. While writing this I have been home 4 days and am still in a large amount of pain. Hopefully this will help with the pain that I deal with in my right leg. However, I will have to deal with the pain that caused stretching the veins in my right leg for the rest of my life.
