Acclaimed Executive Chef Alvin Savella, known in the culinary world as "The Kitchen Assassin", was born and raised in Lahaina, Maui. After training in Los Angeles for a decade, Chef Alvin returned to his hometown to craft a new Hawaiian cuisine. His flagship restaurant Duckine is Chef's love letter for his native land featuring eclectic Hawaiian-Chinese fushion dishes defined by fresh, locally sourced produce and innovative culinary techniques. To support the local Lahaina community, Caribou Kitchen will take inspiration from Chef Alvin to recreate a few of his signature dishes. The Caribou Club will donate $50.00 per dinner toward Chef Alvin's local nonprofit, Hana Hou Hospitality. This nonprofit aims to assist the displaced employees of local restaurants by building tiny homes and providing them with the basic necessities.
Additional donations from the Caribou Community are greatly appreciated.
