Aid Tiny Randy's Critical Recovery Journey

This is Tiny Randy. She's a dwarf kitty with the sweetest personality! Unfortunately she's fighting for her life right meow in the oxygen cage at veterinary emergency group in San Ramon, CA. On the morning of April 11th, I was coming inside from working out in the garage when I saw my 22 year old son's friend coming out of a bedroom into the hallway. He had Randy by the neck. When he saw me he immediately turned around and locked himself inside of the bedroom. I knocked on the door, but he didn't answer. Hearing some noises from inside, I decided to go outside to the window to see what was going on. That's when I saw my baby. Randy had been stuffed through the window screen and thrown on to the ground next to the trash cans. I could see fresh blood on the window next to the damaged screen. Randy was laying flat on her chest, blood visible from her nose and mouth. She was breathing, but heavily, and she was limp. I rushed her immediately to VEG where she is still being treated for her injuries. X rays confirmed that she's got pulmonary edema - blood & bruising in her lungs. Her doctor informed me that this is only caused by strangling, electrocution, or seizures. Considering that I witnessed the young man who was staying at my house literally holding my fur baby by the neck, and his reaction when he realized I was right there, it's my conclusion that animal cruelty is a real, and horrible crime that can happen when it's least expected. There's no justifying the actions that Tiny Randy was subjected to. I am pressing charges to the fullest against the monster that I regrettably trusted in my home. However, Randy's battle isn't over. The hospital bill is estimated to be way more than I can afford. We're throwing a 25% off Cat Bath Special at our Business, Catastrophe Cat Grooming in Livermore, in an effort to earn the funds needed to pay for Randy's hospitalization.
