My name is Theresa Evans, and I am raising money to cover my medical and traveling expenses. Recently, I have been informed that I would have to travel out of state in order to receive adequate medical care for my complex medical conditions. This comes at a significant cost to me as I am a working-class, single mother. I have worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for 10+ years as a housekeeper. In addition, I have also been a CNA for over 20+ years. After, so long of serving this community I am asking for help from my community so that I can continue serving them to the best of my ability in the future.
