Hello, my name is Stephen Williamson, and I'm creating this GoFundMe for my family and me in a time of financial difficulties.

At the beginning of October, I underwent knee surgery for a work injury, and while out of work while I heal and undergo physical therapy, I am receiving work comp twice a month at 60% of my regular pay. But what has made things truly complicated is about a week before my surgery, my wife had to be taken to the ER for complications. She was admitted, and while in the hospital, had to have her pacemaker changed. Two weeks later, her surgical site became severely infected, with infection making it to her heart, rendering her hospitalized again to have the pacemaker and wires removed. She was hospitalized for over three weeks, and when discharged, she was sent home with a PICC line and six weeks of two different intensive intravenous antibiotics taken multiple times daily. This has rendered her out of work for the duration. She has filed for temporary disability, but the process has been slow. Currently, at the time of this writing, she has not had a response back on the temporary disability. This has left my work comp as our only means of income to cover expenses. Our bills are mounting, and we do not have enough to cover them, rent, food, gas, etc. So we are humbly asking for help in this difficult time.
