Aid the Wenzel Family in starting anew after Helene

Hello all, my name is Carson Lancaster. As many people know, our beautiful, little Anna Maria Island was devastated by Hurricane Helene. I am making this GoFundMe not for myself, but for a VERY special family: The Wenzel family!

If you are local, chances are you know them and love them. Both Ian and Grace were born and raised here, are TRUE islanders, and now raise their sweet family here. Grace is one of my very best friends and is one of the very BEST people I know.

Unfortunately, their home on the north end of Anna Maria Island was BADLY flooded and hardly anything is salvageable. They do not have flood insurance as this home was a rental. They are going to have to start all over, buy all new belongings, and fight to find a new home for their kids amongst hundreds or thousands of other displaced residents. They have two beautiful, delightful young girls who don't understand why they can't go home. They will need new beds, new clothes, new toys, etc. Grace would absolutely freak out if she knew I was making this (she's going to find out soon), as she's not one to ever ask for help. She's the type to put her head down and deal with it. But the thing is, I don't know anyone more kind, caring, considerate, and more deserving of help than Grace and her family. So please, if you feel compelled to help a TRUE island family, please consider donating to these beautiful people. It doesn't matter if it's $1.00 or $1,000. Anything will make a difference and will help them carry the weight of this long road ahead of them.
