Aid the Taber Family in Crisis

The Taber family's son, Alex, who is 17, had a firework accident. He has severe injuries to his face. He is currently in St. Louis seeking treatment.

I wanted to update Everyone on Alexander Taber Firework injury journey. We have a appointment Monday back in Saint Louis this time we meet with the ENT team about the orbital socket fracture. We are hoping for good news as he could sure use some positive vibes! Then we have another Appointment on Thursday with the Optometry team, really hoping the swelling in the eye has gone down by then. As you all know by now Alex lost his vision in the left eye due to the impact of the firework hitting his face. The Trauma team told us that we are very lucky he even has a face what is a horrible accident could have been so much worse. We are blessed and grateful it wasnt worse than what it is. We will Keep Everyone posted on future appointments and Updates on how the appointments go...

I truly want to Thank you all for all your kind words and positive vibes for Alex! We truly appreciate them all from the bottom of our hearts. We Have a Huge Support System and we couldn't do it without you all! Truly THANK YOU ALL.

We appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers, support, but most importantly everyone's compassion for alex during this difficult time for him. This is a life changing process for him and I couldn't imagine what goes through his head at 17. He has been an absolute TROOPER throughout this whole process!! He has been so very strong I am beyond proud of him for how strong he's been!
