Aid the Savage Family in Their Time of Need

My name is Linda Savage, I am married to John Savage and together along with my brother in law Neil Savage and the rest of the Savage family are graciously asking for your help!

My father in law John Savage known to many by Elvis, cock roach, etc. married the love of his life 56 years ago, they have 2sons, 5 grandkids and 2 great grandkids.

John is a Vietnam Veteran and a past member of the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department. He helped with the House Of Hope food drive for several years helping many families in need. He also received an award for risking his life to save a lady from a burning vehicle. His wife Cathy has worked at the nursing home for 44 plus years before retiring at the age of 72 only to return back to work to help defray some medical costs that have occurred.

John and Cathy have never asked anyone for anything, they have always been a caring giving couple who would give their own shirt off of their back to help someone else. If they knew we were asking for your help they would actually make us remove this just because that is the kind of people they are.

On Monday May 5, 2025 my father in law took a nasty fall out of bed and had some pretty bad injuries one being a cut above his right eye, laceration to his right elbow and hand. John and Neil immediately took him to the Emergency Room where several tests were performed and a lot of issues had arose. We had learned that he had suffered a heart attack 2 days prior to this event, which we were not aware of, he was dehydrated, and full of fluid to which he needed to have removed immediately as he was having breathing issues and heart failure. He was then life flighted to Ruby Memorial Hospital where he is currently residing in ICU and things are not looking good.

During the past 2 days he has gone down hill severely, his kidneys are shutting down, he is going into heart failure and we see him slowly going down hill. With all this going on, the kids and grandkids have accepted that dad/grandpa is not going to be coming home. His wife has not left his side since he arrived at Ruby and is praying for a miracle.

With the life flight of approximately 20,000 and the occurring medical bills pilling up not to mention future expenses with unknown outcome and not knowing exactly what Medicare or the VA will pay, could you find in your heart to donate to this caring, giving couple?
