On October 24th, the Morris family experienced a terrible accident. Beloved mother and wife, Lisa Morris, has tragically passed, and her husband, Dave Morris, was critically injured. Dave has already undergone surgeries and faces a long, difficult road to recovery ahead. He’ll be out of work for quite some time as he focuses on healing and recovery.

Lisa was a mom to her daughters and their friends, the kind of person who made everyone feel like family. Her home was always open, her arms always welcoming. Whether someone needed a meal, a place to stay, or just someone to talk to, Lisa was there without hesitation. Her warmth, kindness, and generosity touched so many lives, and her absence has left an enormous hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her, especially her babies.

Now, her daughters are facing the unimaginable task of navigating life without their mom while also supporting their papa bear, Dave, as he fights to recover. Dave has spent his career serving others, a true public servant and firefighter who’s put his life on the line to protect and serve. It’s our turn to step up for him the way he’s stepped up for his community.

Family and friends have traveled from different states to be together and take care of everything, but with them being out of work right now, the financial burden is overwhelming. Between funeral costs, medical bills, travel expenses, and lost income, this family is facing tremendous challenges while trying to grieve the loss of someone they loved the most.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease some of that financial stress and allow this beautiful family the time and space they need to grieve and recover. Donations will go directly towards:

- Dave’s medical and rehabilitation expenses

- Funeral and memorial costs for Lisa
