Aid the Meyers Family After Tragic Loss

On December 4th, Cynthia Meyers tragically passed away in an accident while painting her home.

Cynthia was one of a kind. Her love and laughter filled every room she entered. She was the first to approach a stranger, eager to talk with them and listen to their story. Cynthia embodied the principle of “Ohana.” She not only cared deeply for others but also shared joy, laughter, and a commitment to bettering her family and community. She loved the Lord and shared this love freely.

Even though her family moved to Hawaii just four years ago, she touched the lives of hundreds of local youth and young adults. Cynthia was a servant-leader, whether she was helping young members of Pete’s institute classes navigate their challenges or mentoring countless young mothers through overwhelming moments. She always offered a hug, a smile, and a joke to lift the spirits of those around her.

Cynthia loved her family fiercely, and her role as a mother was her greatest blessing in life. She and her husband, Pete, have five children: Emily (13), Audry (17), Jacob (20), Spencer (22), and Matt (25). She cherished every moment with her family and extended her love to her children’s friends, treating them as her own. Her ability to love and bring people together was one of the greatest gifts she gave to her family and community. As a community, we are coming together to surround this family with love and hope.

While we cannot resolve the pain this family is facing, we can help ease their financial concerns, allowing them to focus on honoring Cynthia’s memory and taking their first steps toward healing.
