Aid the McWilliams Family in Starting Over

On December 19, 2024, just days before Christmas, Justin and Kyra McWilliams faced a life-changing tragedy. Their beautiful new home in Ashland, NE, which they had just moved into on November 23rd, caught on fire, leaving them without a place to live and most of their possessions unsalvageable.

Justin and Kyra had so much to look forward to—married in September 2023, they welcomed their first child just a month ago in September 2024, and after months of hard work, they finally bought their first home. Everything was starting to fall into place for this young family. However, this fire has completely changed the course of their journey.

The fire filled their entire house with heavy smoke, and the fire department had to spray water throughout the attic, causing extensive damage to the main floor. Almost every wall on the main level is affected, and while a company is working to salvage what they can, the reality is that most of their belongings are beyond repair.

Thankfully, they are all okay. Justin, Kyra, their newborn son, their two puppies, and their extended family are safe. However, they now face the challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch.
