Hello. My name is Nick. I am/was the husband, boyfriend, partner of Caley Marie Morgan.

Caley Marie Morgan passed away on Friday, January 31st, 2025. She was pronounced @ 10:30pm.

She was diagnosed with Histiocytic Sarcoma in November of 2023. It was caught in Stage 3. A very rare form of blood cancer. She had, since that day, gone through multiple treatments and rounds of chemo plus one treatment of radiation. Unfortunately, the radiation was the last real attempt. The cancer had started to aggressively fight back and spread throughout her body.

As of December 31st, 2024, Caley's insurance and her disability had stopped. So since that time everything has been out of pocket and bills are stacking up. Her father, and her step-mother, have also helped and footed the bills and expenses for her cremation, transportation, etc.

Caley was a fighter and didn't know, when she went to surgery for an emergency, that that would be last time she opened her beautiful eyes to see the world. She was rushed to an emergency surgery while I sped down the mountain to try and see her and be there (We lived one to one and a half hours away and we have two cats), but even though I got there early they had to rush her into surgery.

I was working before all this happened, but after her diagnosis and the following year, I dropped everything to take care of her as her disability kept us afloat for awhile.

She nor I expected her to die so early. The cancer became very aggressive and had spread rapidly throughout her body in the last couple months before she passed.

So, unfortunately I am forced to ask anyone that's willing to help...for help.

The funds gathered here will be shared/split accordingly:
  • Caley's father and step-mother will receive enough to cover expenses and the rent and utilities we weren't able to provide in the past 2 months due to medical and financial reasons. Depending on how much is given I would like to give them more on top for all they've done (Especially to help get this place ready for the next tenant).
  • I personally will take a small amount to help get me back on my feet and to help the people that will be giving me a room to stay in until I can get a new place.
  • Another small amount will go to the people who have helped me and the family get through this. For their hotels, gas, and travel.
  • If we get more than necessary then the rest will go to cancer research and charities. (This is my first time ever doing a gofundme so if I can edit this later I will update on the charity and cancer research facility I have chosen or we can have everyone choose. I am all ears/eyes on opinions or suggestions on where the excess money goes).

A good takeaway from this: Always be kind and always be patient. You never know what someone is going though.

MOST IMPORTANT: Do annual checkups with your doctors. Bi-annually if you can. Catching these terrible diseases before they spread can save lives. <3

Thank you for your time and thank you for your donations. Truly, I and the family will be forever grateful. In the future I plan on paying everything forward. <3
