Hi everyone,

Our family is going through a really tough week. Two of our dogs—our playful 1-year-old and our grumpy but lovable 8-year-old—got into a pretty bad fight at home. It wasn’t anyone’s fault—just one of those awful moments that happen too fast to stop.

Both pups ended up with serious injuries and needed to be rushed to the emergency vet. After an 8-hour ER visit, stitches, drain tubes, pain meds, and antibiotics, we were hit with a vet bill of over $3,000. We’re doing everything we can to make sure they both heal safely, but we simply don’t have that kind of money lying around.

My mom is a single mom who works seven days a week to support her three kids that live with her—we’re doing our best to keep up with everyday expenses, and this unexpected emergency hit us hard. We’ve set our goal at $2,500, but realistically, if we could raise even $1,500 before their follow-up appointment in five days (when the drains come out), it would take a huge weight off our shoulders.

We love our dogs dearly—they’re part of our family—and seeing them in pain has been heartbreaking. Every little bit helps, whether it’s a donation or just sharing our story.
