AID THE CLAUSE FAMILY AFTER EATON FIRE LOSS
Larry and Julie Clause’s family home in Altadena was turned into ashes in the Eaton Fire. Everything they owned at this residence was destroyed but their memories and resilience. They and their family had lived at this residence for 37 years. However, the reality of this loss is beginning to set in. Their home was insured, but the journey will be long (years), complex, and financially challenging. Unfortunately, their journey will not be unique given the wide impact of the fires in Southern California. Many, many wonderful and caring people and their families are facing the same reality. Larry and Julie are very optimistic and strong individuals, and they will meet the challenge.
My name is Yvonne Thomas, and I am a dear friend of Larry and Julie. Julie has always been at my side throughout my life, and we have each shared the incredible love of a special needs child. She has a heart of gold, and she is always the first to help and comfort people in need. Her special needs child, Brittany, presently has terminal cancer and is facing extraordinary medical and physical needs as well.
I am asking her friends and others who may or may not know her or Larry to be at their side at this time and aid them with any donation to complete their journey to a full recovery.
