Aid the Benner Family After Devastating Fire

My name is Alexandra Busby from Louisville, CO and this is a fundraiser for our dear friends the Benner family.

Before moving to Louisville four years ago, I spent many happy days at the Benner home in Altadena surrounded by fellow artists, and I'm overwhelmed to see that the only thing standing is the chimney.

Their beautiful neighborhood was utterly destroyed. Their home is gone. I have gone through this level of lose myself 3 years ago in the Marshall fire and wanted to lend my experience to help the Benner's through this tough time.

The Benner family has a long creative history in the community. Lindsay has performed at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater and was act of the year at the Magic Castle. She was utterly relieved that the day her house burned, the beloved Magic Castle was spared. Their home was a legendary place that was open to feed, house, and foster the creativity of fellow buskers, musicians, circus folk, and artists for years.

Lindsay recently invested a substantial portion of her savings renovating the home her family loved and shared with everyone.

Please consider supporting the Benner family. Gifts made here go directly to them for use to meet immediate needs. Specifically, they were co-sharing the home, and their tenants need support that won't be provided elsewhere. Additionally, the money from those rents supported the Benner family.
