We are the Applegates.

We bought our first home in 2023 and welcomed our daughter Willow into the world in 2024.

Our home was always a “fixer-upper” but had some catastrophic damage caused by mold. We tried to save it with dehumidifiers, remediation, and vapor barriers.

It still progressively became worse, and then Brittany (my wife) tested positive for mycotoxins in her system.

We had to vacate for both our, and our 16-month-old's health.

We couldn’t afford to address the mold properly and needed to find shelter temporarily and secure a rental by October 2025. With help from friends and family we found and got approved for a rental!

There are a lot of costs for us right now as we navigate this time.

We have to start from scratch to prevent bringing mold from our old house.

We will use this money for home essentials like towels, blankets, bedding, baby clothing items, groceries, diapers, medicine, rent, utilities, etc.

We both work and do not use drugs or drink.

We appreciate any help, big or small.

All we want is to get our health back and get back up on our feet!
