Aid Terry Prewitt's Journey to Healing
Donation protected
Terry Prewitt, the man we know as, dad, papa, brother, Chief and friend had a massive right sided stroke on Monday, July 21, 2025. Anyone who knows Terry, knows he is a man of many words, a kitchen table with a free seat, and a cup of coffee.
Terry spent over 21 years in the service, and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer. Post retirement, from the service he has spent his years doing what he loves best, taking care of his family, spending time with friends, and living his life enjoying the beauty of God's creation.
This has affected the immediate Prewitt family, Jennifer, Gary and Tyler. The once strong, and abled bodied man they have known as Dad and Papa, will no longer be able to take care of himself. Terry has undergone a craniotomy, to relieve the pressure from his brain, and is in a medically induced coma. Should Terry come through, he will need 24/7 medical care.
Terry, is a man who would give the shirt off his back, or the last two pennies in his pocket, to anyone, without any questions asked or expectations given.
This fundraiser is in place to help with lodging, gas as the family drives back and forth to the hospital, lost wages, future medical bills, and nursing care. It is Jennifer, Gary, and Tyler's wishes that Terry would be able to come home with nursing care. In order for that to occur, The Prewitt household will have to undergo some renovations for the ability for accessibility.
