We are Nick and Allison.
More importantly, this is our puppy "Teddy". He recently got hit by a car and broke both his front legs. Thankfully, he didn't have any other injuries and is recovering well.
The cost of surgery was extremely expensive and caught us by surprise at a moment when we weren't financially prepared. His physical recovery is also going to be a long one. One of us will have to be home to take care of him at all times, meaning we are going to have take time off of work and stagger our schedules to help him recover. Please help us turn him back into the lovable and energetic puppy that we remember.
Please do not donate if it in any way harms your personal well being. We are also happy to bake cookies for anyone who donates. Thank you you for helping us save our fur baby!
Allison - I got Teddy when he was only 3 months old. It was kismet! I had been looking at puppies one morning before shadowing hospice nurses and lo and behold, the hospice nurse that I was with that day told me that she had a bunch of free puppies if I knew of anyone that wanted one. It was fate! Teddy was the only puppy that stopped eating and waddled his cute little butt over to me, sat down, and looked up at me.
He's been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I don't have the words to describe what he means to me.
On the morning that he was hit, he was found on our normal morning running route he was trying to be the goodest boy by letting me rest on the couch while he took care of the run himself.
Please don't donate if it in any way causes you financial hardship. But I am so appreciative of all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers that have come Teddy's way.
