TATO!

Monday around 12pm, someone either stole our puppy out of our yard, or he got out. We spent all day and all night searching, posting, putting up flyers, cards going into mailboxes even a giant banner hung on the fence to BRING HIM HOME. We had the 3 retrievers come out and track him down, even reached out to a woman who had a drone. We’ve been searching day in and day out, just to find nothing.

Today at 9:30am, someone called my girlfriend saying they found tato eating out of a dumpster at the Casablanca on evergreen. We immediately rushed over there, and there was Tato!!

My poor puppy is beat up. His legs look like someone dragged him on concrete, he’s cut and scraped on his chest, his head and his feet. He is lethargic, has a fever, drooling and just not being himself. I don’t know what crazy adventure he went on, but it was too much on his tiny body.

He had a vet appointment at 2pm, but at 11am his sad eyes were telling us something else is wrong. We brought him to the ER, they are doing X Rays, blood work, a urine sample, fluids and a drug test. He’s going to need antibiotics and who knows what else.

We don’t know much info yet, we know his drug test came back clear. He has a fever, and high BP.

His bill has already been paid, but we were NOT prepared to financially cover this. ANYTHING helps, even a prayer towards my puppy to make sure emotionally and physically he is okay.

Thank you to EVERYONE who shared my post of him missing, I am so so glad he is home. I was going crazy without him.

Tato was surrendered to me at 5 weeks with extreme behavioral issues, he was aggressive with people and animals, extreme recourse guarding etc. I have put TONS of work into this little dog. He is my PSA prospect, we are training to compete in sports. (You can find videos of him working on my instagram and Facebook) he’s a very loved little guy, and if something is wrong with him he has a group of people behind him who will be heart broken.

His white blood cell count is elevated so likely early signs of infection, red blood cell is a little low (might be the opposite) basically he has early signs of infection. Possible blockage.
