Hello to all, my name is Katrina and I'm writing to you on behalf of my sister-friend of over 20 years, Tameka Williams. Five days ago, on 12/9/25, her apartment complex caught on fire. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely.

Tameka was allowed to go back and pick up some clothes and small items. She couldn't go back to her apartment anymore after that until further notice from the Fire Department stating it was safe to do so. She received a call from her apartment manager stating the city is shutting down the whole complex due to it being a safety hazard until the Fire Department completes its full investigation. Tameka was then told she and her family, which includes a son and a 13-year-old honor roll daughter, all had two days to move out all of their stuff from the apartment and relocate elsewhere.

The owner of the apartment isn't helping out financially to help the tenants move somewhere else in the meantime. There's not enough funds at this short notice to be able to afford another apartment as they usually require first and last month's rent! This all happened right around Christmas time, and she doesn't know what to do now.

So I'm not only asking of you but pleading as well for anything you can afford to help with during this time. Anything and everything will help with the cause of this tragic situation.

If you can't donate anything, we completely understand, and I ask you to at least send prayers to her and her family while they try to navigate through this. THANK YOU on behalf of myself, Katrina, and my sister-friend Tameka....
