Aid Taka Dee's Recovery Journey

My name is Kelley and my 9-year-old greyhound is Taka Dee.

Up until 3 weeks ago, she was a healthy retired racer until she sprained her left hock. All was healing well until yesterday when she got overzealous and tried to jump into the car and missed. When she landed, she subluxated her right metacarpal tendon.

Surgery can't happen until 6/3/25 and in the meantime, she can't walk. The donated funds will go to her surgery and recovery.

The second pic shows her right hind leg bandaged and her bruising on the left.

I am on social security and unable to work due to needing to keep Taka calm and comfortable.

She is very frustrated and irritated by all of this!
