Our co-worker/friend Lashawnta (BKA Tae) is a single proud and devoted mother to a handsome teenager named Leon. Tae’s world changed forever when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2025. Currently she is undergoing chemotherapy. While Tae is a loyal postal worker, because this cancer is said to be very aggressive and the survival rate is low, it is sometimes hard for her to attend work. Her medication that is most needed is very expensive and she sometimes have to go without because she still have to maintain rent, bills, food and etc for her and her son. No one is even prepared for such diagnosis. As her friend I am asking that you please help. Let’s support Tae in this trying time and lift her spirit. This would help relieve worry and stress on her life. Anyone that knows her will agree that she has a happy and bubbly spirit. She always have a joke for you and will make you laugh.
