Help Us Save Cirilo Adonis — A Fighter Who Deserves a Second Chance

Hi, we’re Susana and my daughter, Sofia. We’d love to share the story of a very special soul who stole our hearts: Cirilo Adonis.

We rescued Cirilo in February 2025 — a sweet, gentle cat who had endured more than any animal should. After surviving nearly a year on the streets, he was tired, fragile, and in need of urgent care. With antibiotics, patience, and endless love, he slowly began to heal. We truly believed the worst was behind him.

But just a few days ago, Cirilo’s health took a sudden and alarming turn. After several vet visits, lab work, and diagnostic tests, we received devastating news: Cirilo has FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) — a rare and almost always fatal disease caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus (FCoV).

Without treatment, FIP is a death sentence. But there is still hope! An effective treatment exists and has already saved countless feline lives. The only thing standing in our way is the high cost.

In just one week, we’ve already spent $500 on urgent tests and care. Now, to give Cirilo a real shot at life, we’re facing more financial challenge. Our hearts are fully committed to this fight — but we can't do it without your help.

That’s why we’re reaching out — not just as pet parents, but as two people who believe in second chances. Cirilo survived the streets. He found his way into our home and filled it with love. We know he can overcome this, too — he just needs a little help.
