update 11/22/2024:
They had Mom's bed sitting up today.
We were so surprised and happy to see that this morning.
Today is the most she has looked like herself. And every time I called her name, she looked right at me! ❤️
We don't realize what we take for granted until it's a struggle to get back.
She came through her procedure well. Thank you, Jesus!!!
So now we wait, wait for healing and for her to kick this round of sedation.
Lord willing, the next few days should be uneventful.
We are so thankful for every step in the direction of recovery.
On 10/30/2024, Sue (mom) and Rose (8) were in a horrible automobile accident after another vehicle hit them head-on. Sue has had multiple surgeries and is in the ICU in critical care. Rose has passed away from her injuries.
Sue’s adult daughters have rallied together to support and care for Sue and each other during this difficult time. The adult daughters of Sue have all traveled to Fort Wayne and taken off work at their own expense to ensure that Sue has the care and support she deserves. They need to be with their mom but finances are becoming a strain for them. This will be a long road of recovery. Prayers and any kind of financial assistance would be greatly appreciated. There are 4 siblings that need some help to offset their expenses over the next few weeks.
The daughters are:
