Aid Steven's Gift for Malukah's Healing
Donation protected
My niece in Japan was recently diagnosed with leukemia and will be hospitalized for a long while. We are wanting to raise money to send to my brother Steven and my niece Malukah for a computer. Below, my brother has explained all the details. Please read and help if you can. Thank you in advance!
Malukah was diagnosed with T-Cell Leukemia in early February. She does not have any DNA risk and simply won the unluckiest lottery jackpot. Her treatment has started, and she is in the middle category of prognosis. Not very good but not bad.
90% of Malukah’s treatment in the hospital is covered under Japanese National Socialized Health Insurance. We are not in dire need of money. This fundraiser is for Malukah to get things to help her mental attitude and bring up her spirits while she goes through chemotherapy and unknown further treatment.
This money will go towards helping Malukah’s family with those expenses by friends and family that can’t be here but want a way to pitch in, help out, and send love.
I, her father, Steven, am buying her a very good laptop computer and digital art workstation. She loves playing games and she loves doing art. The computer and setup is costing me about $5,000 USD. Anything you donate will go towards that. If there is more than $5,000, it will go towards small things like food and snacks, comforts like pillows or cushions. If for some reason there is a large amount of leftover money, it will go into Malukah’s future schooling and college.
We already have a college fund for her, but who knows where she will go to college and if the money we are saving for her is enough.
Please be aware that we don’t need money. We aren’t rich, but we have what we need. Any donations are going towards anything we can do to make Malukah’s chemotherapy and hospital life more comfortable beyond the necessities.
We will keep everyone updated on as much progress as we have time to post. How her health is progressing and any art that she creates with her new computer and digital art station when she gets it and feels good enough to use it.
Thank you for everything, from the Harsha/Isobe families.
