My name is Stephanie Hughes Jose. Since having COVID in 2020, I have been struggling with one health issue after another. I had an injury and surgery in 2024. I had just returned to work and need cataract surgery. I cannot see and am not legal to drive till after surgery. My leave of absence from Walmart has been denied, as well as my short-term disability pay. I have been informed that my employment after 33 years has been terminated for missing work. I will not be able to pay next month's rent and am 2 months behind on utilities. I would like to be able to pay those late bills, next month or two's rent, and what medical bills I have after Medicare pays their part. I will be appealing my termination but will need help until rectified. I've been working for 50 years, and it's very hard for me to ask for help. Thank you.
