Dear colleagues,

As you may have heard already, Sritam Kumar Satpathy, our 1st year graduate student, had a death in his family in the last week of May, 2025. His mother suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in an accident in India. His father was also injured in the same accident, but we understand that he is recovering. Sritam flew back to India right after the incident. Obviously, it is a very difficult time for him, his younger sister, and his whole family. We are wondering if we can help him financially at this difficult time with a fundraising, as his family go through various rituals. We would really appreciate your contributions.
