Hi my name is Bree genery. I really tried to refrain from making one of these. But, we are at a point where Sophie isn’t sleeping & im missing shifts because of it. Sophie was sick on & off for about 8 months now. Because she was so congested, we just now diagnosed her with heart disease. She is a 10 year old English bulldog who is otherwise, in perfect health. Medication is expensive & so is the cardiologist but being she is my best friend, we are doing whatever it takes. She is now on medication monthly until she passes which is 130$ a month. I’ve dropped thousands at the vet already just to diagnose her. Her FIRST cardio appointment is going to be $800. That will show us more pictures of her heart & see how severe it is. In which case, they may alter her meds a bit which will be a financial burden. I’m still working 5-6 days a week except when she isn’t sleeping well or has a real bad day but this is probably going to get rather expensive & we will need all the help we can get. I also am trying to be home with her more so she isn’t in distress & alone in this time. If you are struggling yourself, please please do not donate. I get it . But, if you have some extra money & can make sure I can help my baby fight this fight & give me a break, I’d appreciate it. I also have cervical stenosis & I’m in therapy twice a week. We are at the point where I’m lifting her on & off the bed & up & down the steps so working 6 days a week on top of that, I’m struggling myself. But, I’ll do whatever it takes to help my baby girl.
