My son was diving at Ferry Beach in Charlevoix and hit bottom and went unconscious. We were taken to the hospital in our town and X-rays were taken, and my son broke 3 vertebrae in his neck. We were airlifted to Devos in Grand Rapids! As of now, we are waiting to hear back whether he will need to have surgery. It will be a very long recovery process for my son. I've never had to deal with anything like this and am very overwhelmed with everything. I'm not one to ask for help, but at this time, I have no other choices.
